A music albums and tracks distribution company based in New Zealand.

Business Need

The client wanted to develop a music album download website that provides the facility of online purchase of products (shopping cart), notifications, member information and other data for the site users. The system should also allow users to play selected tracks and download the tracks if license key is provided. The client also wanted to have an admin panel for managing product images and page contents.

Solution

An ASP .Net 2.0 website is developed to cater to the above needs. This music album download website displays the data which was managed by a SQL Server 2005. It allowed the users to extensively search tracks, play the tracks by referencing music files from relevant folders and using windows media player to play the music.
